WHAT YOU NEED

WHAT YOU NEED AT            LE MANS

 RADIO LE MANS

  MUST HAVE - VITAL

This is the English language "on track" radio station – it is the distilled spirit of Le Mans. YOU NEED A SMALL FM RADIO WITH EARPHONE to receive this 24/7 service which runs for the whole race week – if all else fails buy one from the Radio Le Mans chalet in the Village or buy off the roving sales girls on the circuit. They will not be as good for hearing against the roar of LMP1/2 cars as a proper set with ear buds/phones.

   SOUND PROTECTION

Y ou really do need this - particularly on the START/FINISH STRAIGHT as the noise echoes and is amplified between the the opposing grandstands.   Well worth thinking about a combined radio/sound protection (if that isn't a contradiction in terms!) There are quite a few varieties of differing quality but here is an idea of what's out there
