DRIVERS PARADE    MUST DO

If it is a sunny day!! Even if raining, Le Mans City Centre Pubs and Restaurants are still worth a trip.  There are also some very good up-market clothing boutiques. The parade is mandatory for all the Drivers in the Race, seated in old vehicles going around a city centre route accompanied by marching bands (of various persuasions) and pretty women. If it is a sunny day, it will be busy but the place has enough space – expect about 150,000 people, centred on the Place de la Republique.

Over the years the route has shrunk and it is a bit tight but it is still fun and there is a good atmosphere.

 " Organised by CLASSIC AUTOMOTIVE in partnership with the ACO, this year’s event promises to be a spectacular show. Drivers from the 24 Hours of Le Mans will take part in a parade featuring both classic and modern cars. The public will be able to admire a parade of supercars and cars from the cinema. To mark the occasion, goodies will be handed out and plenty of surprises await spectators. A unique event, run by 500 volunteers, not to be missed.
