CIRCUIT TRANSPORT - GETS BETTER EVERY YEAR

SCROLL DOWN FOR SHUTTLE BUSES

2026 CAMPSITES VERY MUCH THE SAME AS LAST  YEAR

TRAIN TO TRAM TO CIRCUIT - VERY EASY

Exit the Station at the Main Entrance, you'll see the TRAM TRACKS. You want the side nearest the Station, Buy a

ticket from the machine next to the stop ( see a bit further below for ticket machine operation). Punch the ticket when you board

and take the T2 to ANTARES (the end of the Line). Trains are very frequent in Le Mans week.

Once at Antares follow the road in front of you, turn right 300 metres and you will come to an entrance to the circuit (Porte EST)

There are a variety of "public systems" working during Le Mans week.

The most obvious is the tram from ANTARES  which will take you INTO TOWN .

Obviously it gets very busy on Friday afternoon taking everyone into the Drivers Parade - REPUBLIQUE stop.

DRIVERS PARADE STARTS AT 4PM ON  FRIDAY IN 2026

THE TRAM SYSTEM

Join the TRAM (ROUTE T1)at the Terminus ANTARES or GUETTELOUP via Tertre Rouge pedestrian entrance.

You need a ticket. Buy this from the machine on the platform.

The trick is to turn the green knob until you find the correct selection you want for your ticket - return, day pass or 10 journeys (as shown on the ticket on next page) - then press to select!

If you have any journeys left on your card the same ticket will work next year.

You need to “validate” the journey   by putting the ticket (to me it seems you put the ticket in upside down) into one of the machines inside the tram FOR EACH OF YOUR GROUP TRAVELLING . On the ticket shown above you can see 2 of us travelled on the 14 Mar. DO THIS BOTH ON THE JOURNEY IN AND OUT OF the City. There are regular ticket inspections.
